On January 17, 2008, over 150 residents, employers, and employees attended the Open House and Kick Off for the Downtown Plan.

Beyond viewing the past successes, participants were able to fill out a 50 question survey as the first opportunity for public input for the 2008 Downtown Plan. Business cards with the newly created website and email addresses were handed out to ensure the participants will be kept up to date throughout the planning process.
