How do I find the design standards for an accessory building, such as a garage?

Tables indicating design standards for an accessory building are located in the text of the zoning ordinance. Use the "Browse" function to view these tables.

Open the CZO home page. Click on "Browse" .

Choose the appropriate chapter. Click on the "+" sign to expand the outline; choose "accessory structure standards."

If the zoning district begins with the letters RS, RT, RM or RO, choose subchapter 5 (residential districts).

If the zoning district begins with the letters NS, LB, RB, or CS, choose subchapter 6 (commercial districts).

If the zoning district begins with C9, choose subchapter 7 (downtown districts).

If the zoning district begins with the letter I, choose subchapter 8 (industrial districts).

If the zoning district begins with some other letter, choose subchapter 9 (special districts).
