You do not need a formal landscaping plan unless you have been told you are required to meet certain landscaping requirements. Generally, a five-foot landscape buffer is required for all parking areas that abut a public right-of-way. Your landscaping plans MUST be to scale and include exact measurements. Your landscaping plans MUST contain the following information. If they do not, your application may be held-up so that you can submit the proper plans. The property lines on the lot Width of setback or buffer areas Size and type of fences, walls or berms The location of the plants The type of plants The size of the plants back
