Objectives: The Public Outdoor Recreation Plan fosters coordination between the three agencies which prepared this document: the City Department of Public Works, the Department of City Development, and the Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) Department of School and Community Services. 

This plan provides a policy framework for determining project priorities and qualifies the City and MPS for State recreational assistance programs.
