Most volunteers are residents or business owners within the designated
districts. They match the public/private dollars with people power.
Activities include special promotional events, ongoing clean-up, ongoing
public safety initiatives, unpaid professional services such as
marketing, architectural advice, physical labor, plantings, creation of
special street amenities, creation of business resource guides and more.
The program looks forward to welcoming 2 additional Main Street
districts in 2008 and will seek volunteers for a variety of duties.
