The Life Ventures Partnership is a collaborative public/private initiative to promote the future vitality of Milwaukee’s regional economy by preparing young people to become:

The Life Ventures Partnership will accomplish its mission by:

1.	Exposing kids to the world of work;
2.	Educating kids about the relationship between education and career choices; and
3.	Teaching work-readiness skills critical to future success in the workplace.

The Life Ventures Partnership will be informed and guided by several key principles and core values:
 

Youth development	Collaboration
Quality standards	Best practices
Resource sharing	Professional development

The Life Ventures Partnership will undertake planning in concert with the Milwaukee 7, local employers and agencies to develop goals that align with the needs of both employers and Milwaukee youth. The agencies committed to preparing youth for the future need to understand what the future holds – and make their plans accordingly.

The Life Ventures Partnership will create a community-wide goal for this project and track results achieved.
